CAPITOL MEETING: Officials Meet King | Business

Congressman Steve King visited with Fort Dodge and Webster County Officials on the Capitol steps Wednesday.

"Meeting with the Fort Dodge and Webster County delegation to discuss their priorities is a central focus of our efforts," said King. "In discussing economic development, education and agricultural resources, I understand what is important to these leaders. Together we solidified a partnership that will continue to develop and grow."

In total, 13 local leaders made the trip for a full day of meetings.

The Messenger reports that expanding Iowa's Crossroads of Global Innovation, an industrial park in the area was high on the list of priorities along with growth of the regional airport.
