SENATE CAMPAIGN: Braley Starts Tour In Fort Dodge | Events
Congressman Bruce Braley’s run for Senate is up and running. In just three months, Braley has raised more than $1 million for his campaign and is currently on a “meet and greet” tour of western Iowa, starting in Fort Dodge.
Braley announced his candidacy earlier this year, after Senator Tom Harkin revealed he will step down at the end of his term.
On Wednesday he visited Fort Dodge, Carroll and Denison. Thursday he will head to Red Oak, Creston, Osceola and will finish the tour attending the Polk County Democrats Annual Awards Dinner in Des Moines.
Braley is the only democrat who has declared his candidacy, and so far he has no republican challengers.
